When I save as SVG, my more complicated design starts to shift it's positions. To be more specific, the outline vector of my object is slightly askew from the colored objects. Any fix?
@MichaelBullo4 жыл бұрын
I haven't personally experienced this problem. Here are a few random suggestions that you could explore… When you choose Save As, activate the "Use Artboards" option in the first of the two dialog boxes that will appear. In the SVG Options dialog box, try changing the "SVG Profiles" to a different option. Increase the size of your artboard and artwork within Illustrator before exporting. I'm wondering if the relative distances between your artwork may be treated with more fidelity if they are on a larger scale. Try exporting out different elements as different SVG files and then importing those multiple files into Blender. It's not pretty, but... I hope something here helps. Please let me know how you get on.
@veronicajoyce21124 жыл бұрын
@@MichaelBullo I was able to work it out with exporting as an SVG instead of Save As and had the decimal all the way to 5.
@MichaelBullo4 жыл бұрын
@@veronicajoyce2112 Ah yes. The one thing that I didn't mention :) Nicely done. You reminded me that when doing a Save As for an SVG there is a More Options button at the bottom of the dialog box. This reveals a Decimal Places option for controlling vector precision. If you hover your mouse over that field you will see a detailed description show up at the bottom of the dialog box.
