Kind of odd that such a small piece of metal could be almost as effective as a proper blade, Almost as if a sword/axe didn't need to weigh as much as it's wielder. 🤔 We must conduct further research into these "undersized" blades. Most vegetable based oils like canola, corn and olive will go rancid, stinky and sticky. Walnut does not and is used throughout wood working and to oil wooden or bamboo kitchen items

Actually, Walnut Oil is avoided in wooden and bamboo kitchen items due to never knowing if someone has a Nut based allergy, Mineral Oil is the usual go to for cutting boards, spoons, etc.
