The absolute best clearcoat to use as a consumer is any 2K clear coat. It is absolutely amazing. They are expensive for a can (usually $25-35) but they are so worth it. However, I don't know if you want your interior that shiny though because it'll make any surface look like the paint finish on the outside of your car. The most popular 2K clear coat is USC Max Spray. There's several other brands too, and they're all basically similar.

Is the carpet rough ? Or hard ?
@MichaelFlare4 жыл бұрын
enrique mejia - yes it is because it’s painted LOL. I don’t have this door panels anymore. This paint job was only temporary until my real black ones and red fabric came in.

@@MichaelFlare I just finished mines but I always used fabric dye or leather dye why not go that route ? I feel like that's a better way so the carpet isnt rough

@@enriquemejia5861 - I never thought of that! Thanks though. I have real red fabric now.

does it scratch easily or peal off?
@MichaelFlare4 жыл бұрын
It scuffs and turns white. The paint doesn't fully come off or peal though, it scuffs.

How did you paint the dash?
@MichaelFlare4 жыл бұрын
Alfie Taylor - Every single panel I painted is no longer in my car. I actually have all original Civic Type R black interior panels. This includes the entire dash too.

@@MichaelFlare may I ask how i want to buy new plastics from interior uncluding dash brand new but dont know where.
I only had these parts in my car for like 5 months because it was only a temporary thing. I had all parts replaced with all black panels. The parts does get scuffed up white easily and can be rubbed away with water. It's kind of like scratching your skin with your fingernail; the skin scuffs up white but when you wipe with water it goes away.

What’s the sand paper u use wat number ?
@MichaelFlare2 жыл бұрын
No sandpaper, it's just the Scotchbrite pad. I think it would be about 600-800 grit if you're using sandpaper.
