Dying for a country halfway around the world. Our politicians worry more about Middle Eastern borders than our own. We also send $3.8 billion to Israel every year and they get free health care, do we nope. All this Iran and Syria nonsense is Israel's problem not ours. Trump actually wanted to get our troops out of Syria but the deep state was undermining him. Now old Joe is sending more troops over there.

Many years ago I met Meyers Grandson when he was a bartender in a casino. That namebadge, Meyer Lansky, blew my mind. I told him I met his granddad one day at the Eden Roc in Miami Beach when he was at a cabana playing pinochle with my employer at the time, Max Rubenstein. Time flies in a small world. Meyer I was the genius behind IT ALL.

Agree with Michael that Myer definitely was very up there/well respected when it came to the Italian mafia dealing with gambling. When Luciano considers a man to have at his right hand and such a close friend it's hard to deny Myers power. Having read Selwyn Raab's book, Five Families, this interview fleshes out detail that the book emphasizes, that Lansky was a significant figure but that the Feds estimates of his fortune at the end were typical Federal hyping of the magnitude of their cases. As mentioned, it's a lot more likely that Anastasia was the driving force behind Murder Inc. rather than Lansky. This interview is as good as it gets, on a level with the work you did with Joe PIstone. Thanks for putting this together.
