1963 is definitely wrong. It is shot between September and October 1982. In the 1:50 / 7:01 min of the video, there are shown posters of Mrs. Aleka Markogiannaki, mayor candidate. She participated in the local elections taken place on October 17, 1982.

Judging by the car number plates, the prices of fruits in drachmas, the political slogans on the wall, must be the period between August to Octomber 1981.

I had only seen written descriptions before, and maps of the country torn in two. It totally absorbed me as I was coming of age. I need to go read about the current status. It truely is a beautiful, fruitful place.
