I absolutely love the Broadway Lion King, especially the songs "He Lives in You" and "Shadowland," two potent additions that I actually think make the Broadway music surpass the original animated movie soundtrack. Those two songs speak to my spiritual and environmentalist soul, so hearing them always makes me cry. These amazing ladies made me cry twice as hard...with ALL the songs! I have no words for such awesomeness. I grew up as a minister's kid, and I had yet to hear any church congregation sing their dry, dusty beliefs with as much true heart and soul as these beautiful women sang the Deeper Truth within the Lion King melodies. THIS is singing with heart and soul! You ladies rock!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!! No detail was missed! The African garb, from the color choices to the head wraps, to the bold patterns, were all selected with a keen, aesthetic eye! Brilliant matching of voices for harmonies of perfection and amazing showcases of solos! Thank you for also choosing a beautiful array of gorgeous black women of all shapes, sizes, and shades!!! MELANIN COME THRU!!!! As a black woman who also sings and writes, I am so very proud of all who had their hands in creating such an awesome masterpiece and am grateful that you have shared it with us all. Food for the soul!!! This instantly made me fall in love with our culture and ethnicity even more...if that's even possible! WE NEED MORE PLEASE!!!!! MORE!!!! PLEASE!!!!
