I went to OJAI, CALIFORNIA and found the beauty of life.

The valley of Ojai, California is considered by many to be a vortex of spiritual energy. It is said to have mystical powers that release a peaceful sacredness that can be felt, and many people come to Ojai for the meditation retreats and wellness centers. I came to Ojai for the day to help find some peace and meditation, and what I think I found was the connection I was looking for. I shopped for some spiritual goods, ate some great food, adventured on a beautiful hike in the Los Padres National Forest, and found a place for solitude where I realized just how beautiful the world is around us.

Spent July 4th in Ojai with my family. We met the most content person I've ever come across in my life. We were in Serendipity Toy Store and this guy walks in with his 9 month old baby girl in one of those chest baby carriers. He was singing to her in a quiet voice and seemed incredibly at peace with himself. We got to talking and it turns he's originally from DC and got burnt out working stressful jobs in several big cities. He said his life changed when he moved to Ojai. My wife played with his baby for a bit, we chatted some more and said our goodbyes. I walked out of the store and went to a nice grassy area outside the store. I sat down, closed my eyes, and felt the need to meditate in this place. As I finished my meditation, I opened my eyes and saw him walking out of the store, again singing to his baby girl. I watched as he pulled a radio flyer behind him and they disappeared up a small hill. I thought to myself, "I can't imagine myself ever being that much at peace with myself." But it's a journey I'd like to take. That's what I love most about traveling, experiencing the energy of a place. The energy in Ojai is uniquely strong, peaceful, and beautiful. Can't wait to go back.

This was beautiful and resonated with me!!! I am pushing myself everyday to live in the present. I am preparing now to move to Cali in a couple years for the very reasons in your videos. Thanks Charlotte, it's right near the Rose Valley Falls Trail in Los Padres National Forest! You can find it right before you enter the gate to the Campgrounds; it's a pretty easy-to-find area next to all the parked cars on the street.

Unfortunately Rose Valley was destroyed in the storm the spring of 2023. Out of 9 campsites only 3 were left untouched. But you are right Ojai is a beautiful place. Very peaceful rumor has it there is some sort of positive vortex that is the reason for the good vibes
