There's a brand new Toys "R" Us/Baby "R" Us that opened up in Concord, CA (USA) just recently. This was a Toys "R" Us/Baby "R" Us that seemed to only moved locations from a different part of the city. It's the Toys "R" Us I always loved going as a child. It's amazing that my beloved childhood store still thrives even if the business has gone. It's like that one Blockbuster store that still exist today. The last one remaining.

When I was a child, this was my favorite store to go to. Even though we couldn't afford most of the toys, getting to see and play with many of them made my childhood. As a parent, I would take my kids to all their events and always got their birthday and holiday toys there. It truly broke my heart to see them go.

I’m so sad, I remember begging my mom as a kid to take me to Toy’s R Us. 😔 It’s sad to see Toy’s R Us go, but at heart we will always be Toy’s R Us Kids. Just listening to the commercials now make me cry. I remember getting the catalogs during Christmas and circling everything I wanted. I guess I can’t do that anymore. It’s sad to see this business go, but all wonderful things must come to an end. I’m not sure if I believe that the company can come back. Yes there are still stores in other places besides the US and the U.K., but will the company be able to spread back over here?
