The glow up is insane. The webbing on the old one is still good, but it’s kinda uneven and the red is so muted. The new one is Josh absolute perfection. Hands down your best figure to date Ross. Holy shit

The original one isn’t terrible…but when compared to your new one, I mean it’s no contest when choosing which one is better. The new one is just so much more detailed and accurate it’s incredible, and it wasn’t until you put them side by side that I noticed how flat looking the original one is. And those eyes, I’m sure 2014 you thought it looked good but they are spread so far apart it almost doesn’t look human. I can’t wait to see your showcase for this figure. Also that “my back” skit gave me an idea for a skit you could do for your Tobey suit showcase where he says “Oh, it’s just, my back.” and then you just appear and say something like “Yeah join the club pal.”

you may not have had any figures to draw inspiration from in 2014, but i sure as hell used yours for inspiration no less than 4 times. After NWH, I started work on the webslingers again and I'd be lying if i said this new figure isn't inspiring my current version. You're doing great work and it's very inspiring to see how far you've come.

This is beyond impressive! Your first Spider-Man was already amazing, but your new one really shows the amount of growth your skills have gone through. I can also relate to wanting to take time into working on minifigures to make them as accurate as possible. I’m currently doing the same thing with God of War Ragnarök in celebration of the game releasing this year. And, have also been doing stuff like Halo, Clone Troopers, and have even considered going back to Devil May Cry to try and improve on them. Can’t wait to see Tobey’s suit.

Wait, you added the cell texture on the side of the body but you didn’t think to connect the shoulders to the arms? I mean the figure is amazing, but just a little bit of red paint on the top sides of the torso would have just made the fig. Either way great work these are fantastic
