Three IMPORTANT things I wanna point out- first I’ve been on this weird “diving for treasures” type videos for a while now and you’re probably by far my favorite channel and wished I found you sooner. Two, your lisp because me too hehe. And three, I spent a good five minutes trying to get my thumb to bend like the guys at 14:48, was so intrigued🤣

Hi Michael, just a thought to save you having to bend over when using your pinpointer like that. Grab a piece of PVC Electrical Conduit or Plastic Drain Pipe and make an extension holder. You find a piece that's either just a fraction smaller or larger than the base of the pinpointer and heat it up over a gas flame of heat gun until it gets nice and soft, then expand it or crimp it down to make a snug fit onto the pointer. You then use cold water to cool the heated pipe with the pointer in place ( if it's waterproof ) and check it fits well. A slit can also be cut along the pipe walk incase it's too tight to make it easier to get the pointer in/out. Trim the pipe to the right length AFTER doing the pointer moulding. You can then either heat bend the other end of the pipe to make a handle or add a bought suitably radiused elbow joint. This pipe is easily available at Bunnings. This doesn't take long to bend up and it saves your back from bending over. Have a go with a trial piece to see how you go before making your final version up. I used to do this to make up extensions to hold things like screwdrivers and Air-conditioning testing equipment to save me trying to get ladders into cramped places to reach places well above head level, so it will work for you going for things at foot level too. Good luck.
