whatever you can afford, even if it's used they're relatively bulletproof (the tablets I used in college were all second hand); right now even as a "professional" (if you consider me that) I use a (relatively) cheap Intuos Pro Medium. The Xencelab and Huion tablets work great also: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWG5fmV6psiBm6M and kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZa5d6SdaMyIY5I

I rarely use poly groups in my work flow besides cutting stuff off. My geometry never looks this good lol. I only 3d print so it doesn’t need to be perfect I don’t ever render my stuff. Seems helpful for posing assets with good geometry.

CTRL+W... most annoying shortcut ever, when your keyboard switches from azerty to qwerty and you hit W instead of CTRL-Z... you're destroying your polygroups instead of undoing. I had to disable the windows alt+shift shortcut, which switches from azerty to qwerty. Anyway, you can also put the zmodeler brush in polygroup island and fill the area after a polyloop. It's faster than polygrouping each loop individually.
