Personally, back in the1990s I used to dumpster dive at my university. I was always finding official university furniture from the dorms, filing cabinets, This End Up furniture from the dorm lobbies, office desks from the 1930s. I found antique equipment from the science labs like scales and motors and bunsen burners. I brought home 20 bunkbeds one day with my Grandmother's help. And 40 broken chairs another day, which I rebuilt into 20 fixed chairs. That are now worth 300 bucks apiece. A 300 lb. copper step-up coil from the sciences lab. The worst thing I ever found was a skinned cat.

I once found $10 in loose change in a shattered couch. When the senior class graduated in the spring, I would bring home tons of stuff from dumpster diving. Clothes, laundry detergeant, prepackaged foodstuffs, lumber from those loft beds they built. Schoolbooks. Computers, spare tires. Three months-worth of free groceries.

OMG NICOLE YOUR KILLIN ME HERE!!!!! You are scoring on this years Christmas finds. In another video you found all the holiday door swags are gorgeous. They could have makes them down more and they would have gotten bought. The stores have holiday deadlines. Whatever that isn’t sold they toss! There are so many families that don’t ha e ornaments. If you don’t sell them I’d donate them . Do you sell the items you find? Where are you located?

I used to be an Event Coordinator for Michael’s- There was a mandatory quantity of things you could keep in your closets. First there had to be plastic bins labeled with an exact amount of tools and equipment needed to do the Birthday craft parties for kids. (Paintbrushes, glue, scizzors, paint, etc.) Anything more than the label when the district manager comes in to check - if you don’t have the exact amount you get a warning, etc. well I was the one that had to go around and train new Coordinators and clear out the hoard the prior one left behind. It Killed me! Such a waste to throw it out. But they wouldn’t let us donate. It could lead to resale.

The blanket is Minky fabric wash 2 or 3 times it should stop as you called it shedding. when you buy stuff like that it should be washed first any ways because you don't know who rubbed their hands, face, or what ever on it during shipping and after it got to the store. I have seen some stuff.
