Here is the ignition you need for the predator. dynatek fs dfs9-2p the dfs9-2p is the part number for an 05-07 predator. It retards the timing for startup so you don't shear flywheel keys or trash one way clutch. The cheap ones don't retard timing on startup. It has several timing curves and is programmable for custom curves. It doesn't pull timing at the top and rev limit can be set to 9100 rpm. The rod is the weak link. Spinning to 10000 rpm with a stock rod is just going to end in misery.

@@duneracerweston why do two stroke guys have to jet their bikes each and every time they ride man, lol man switching to a 4 stroke 450 was the best thing I’ve ever done. Sure it’s a lot of time and sometimes money when shit goes wrong but it’s a set it and forget it thing with jetting . I adjust my valves every season, and that’s it man. Otherwise it’s just regular oil and air filter changes

@@njmxjunkie3128 they dont every ride.lol thats silly.but if you for some reason want the bike to have peak hp at every location you ride then you might need to.they have things to remedy that issue tho. But I, as do most riders, dont want there bikes with the highest peak hp. For numerous reasons, so the jetting isnt messed with at all really unless the air temperature change is over 100 degrees.i run mine rich for summer weather so it is also in a good range in the winter then

The quality of your videos keep getting better and better. I bought my wife a brand new Foreman and just sold my 450R Honda. I want to do slow trail riding with her in the 450 was a little much for the trails and the speed she goes. Any good suggestion on a trail machine? I am 6'2 and 230 lb I was looking at a a 250R but that doesn't seem like it would be great on the trails, the tight trails I ride on any way. I have a 350 raptor as well and sold it a while back pretty much same thing as a warrior it felt a little sluggish but if I could wake up a warrior I wouldn't disregard one another one I was looking at was a 400EX. We ride mostly around 25 miles an hour or less on the trails any suggestions on models I should look at? You can leave off Polaris I don't ride them. For some strange reason because I love two strokes I'm kind of fond of a blaster
