Mike, I would recommend getting rid of that shorty vent hose on top of ur gas cap, and just switch to a regular vent hose, the valves in those shorty hoses can clog up and cause the tank to vapor lock, seen it happen all the time with 2 strokes, just would hate to see ur motor burn up from fuel starvation

Bro, I’m going to do my best to make it next year with my daughter. We might be on a couple of blasters, maybe I’ll have my 400EX done, but being a single father of 2 daughters I’m limited on what I can spend right now. I have to get another truck as well because i smoked the motor in my f150, so that doesn’t help either. We will see what this next year has in store for us. I have a lawsuit going on from where I got hurt at work, plus taxes, so maybe I’ll have the truck situation sorted out. I’ll have to work a BOAT LOAD of overtime this year, but I’m going to do my best to get the quads built and get a truck.
@MichaelSabo3 жыл бұрын
Man, sounds like you've got a lot going on; I hope you can make it if it's in the card; its a great time for you and your daughters!

@@MichaelSabo I’m going to work on it. I guess when tax season hits I’ll see what I’m working with, plus this lawsuit from getting hurt at work, I might be able to swing something. I know I could at least load up some utility quads to at least go play for a while, but I would most definitely prefer sport quads in the sand.

@@MichaelSabo they were made by mountain bike builder Michael Cowan under the LRD name. When LRD folded the laeger name came along with some different brackets. Unfortunately both were great idea with poor execution. Coupled with the fact that the oversized tubes made fitment of certain components difficult and the poor durability they eventually went by the wayside. If you plan to ride one hard, you better be a good aluminum welder/fabricator. Especially if it already has damage.
