why gear ratio is looking diffrent to other Amg GT3's? You shifting to 4th gear at 100 mph (160kmh) , but other Amg's shifting to 4th at 110-115 mph.I just realized that not only AMG but also 488 gear ratios are shorter than normal; Is this an issue with IMSA's BoP rules or do brands offer a different setup for IMSA? Most GT3 manufacturers have multiple homologated gear sets. Not all series let you use them. We have two options in IMSA.

@@MikeSkeenRacing But you looking like used same gear setup in 24 Daytona. And this track has very long straights. It ısn't a disadvantage?

@@mericyaman5152 6th gear in the short stack is the same ratio as 5th in the long stack. Therefore, if you use 6th at all in the long stack you would run out of gear with the short stack. There are also some cases that a lower gear fits a series of corners better and gives the long stack the advantage to eliminate some shifts.
