It's so freaking bad ass when Helios's golden chariot comes around as a silent announcement to start the fight. The Gods were fearless and had absolute confidence in the face of the titan's return.

In all the other media the return of Titans is justified with the wavering of gods. Usually some half-god has to save the Olympus. Here the gods are an absolute powerhouse and could still mop the floor with Titans but Kratos is enough of a gamechanger to take them on. But whenever we see the gods fight Titans, they absolutely destroy them.
