The sound design here is on another level. This the technical expertise I want to achieve in the next 10 years. Truly inspiring.

Thank you, dear Viktor. Tracker is a great tool when it comes to creative use of samples, especially resampling recorded-a-moment-ago sounds :)

@@michalwolskimusic you have such fine movements, it would be nice on the video to know like what mode your in, like i think your in performance mode most of the time but cant tell, also experiment with overhead shot of just screen or what ya click, i also think you starting from scratch from like the radio would be awesome

I’m looking forward to sampling my iPad Sunrizer synth patches with the tracker :) Did I understand correctly that you are using external efx? Or are you talking about the sends in the tracker? Thanks for sharing!
@michalwolskimusic2 жыл бұрын
I was using some external fx sends in Ableton :) Sampling iOS synths to the Tracker is a great idea :)

Great Track Michal. How did u create the knocking predatorish sound?

Hey there, wonderful piece of music! Are you making your own samples or are you downloading them? If so, where is a good source for wav samples?
@michalwolskimusic2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for kind words!!! I am happy to know that you find these sounds interesting :) Referring to your question - I always use my own samples. I record "jam sessions" using my modular system, my synthesizers, sometimes I sample acoustic instruments like didgeridoo, and then I chop them, and reuse in such units like Polyend Tracker or Elektron Octatrack. In this track you can hear sampled instruments from my iPad. I don't remember, it was probably Magellan iOS synth. I recommend this way of dealing with sound - record your own samples. Nothing wrong with using sample packs, but recording sounds and then using them as samples in samplers/granular processors have this power of opening our eyes to different realms of the world of sounds. I deeply recommend it :) Cheers!

Good taste and finesse. This is the instrument for me I guess. PS I don't know shit about music theory, all those notes scares me a little. But I guess I can jam with intuition, patience and a sharp ear?
@michalwolskimusic2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, you definitely can (and should) work with this machine following your intuition with patience and widely open sharp ears! :) All the best to you!
