Ofra is my favorite singer, nobody has been able to top her. The clarity of her voice and her vibratto, the absolute control of sound, she just opened her mouth and miracle came out. She sang like an angel.

Hey.. ofra haza was a legend here in israel. God decided to take her very young to add her to his choir of angels. I recommend you to listen to a young israeli singer ,ofir ben shitrit. They say she reminds ofra haza with her clear voice. I recommend you to start with her performance of the song "KATONTi".

The song 'To Give' in the original performance by the musician Boaz Sharabi was the theme song of one of the most beloved Israeli films in the 80's. It has not been proven that her husband Doron Ashkenazi infected her with AIDS. In the last years of her life she looked less well, like Freddie Mercury in his last years. In my opinion, they only knew each other because they both had AIDS and because everyone attacked him after she died because she was very much loved in Israel, he committed suicide by taking an overdose.
