Surviving Compton gives a new meaning to BEATS By Dre. I have listened to the song multiple times within the past twenty-four hours. I realized Michel'le was expressing the hurt she had to endure in her relationship with Dr. Dre. Now, when I look at her facial expressions in the video, it is so obvious something is wrong. She was hiding her pain and bruises. She really did survive Compton.
