Coltrane released his album "Giant Steps" in 1959 (about) and this record is still a sensation, it had taken me 2 years to pick up this tune on my piano. Petrucciani is just a phenomenal musician, thanks

Grandissimo Michel, un fraseggio unico, irripetibile. Aveva la capacità di distinguere tutte le note, l'una dall'altra, come pochi altri...

The name of this tune is "Giant Steps" by John Coltrane. A great piece of music. I don't understand how they failed to mention this! But nonetheless, "Mike P" is among the greatest of the greats.,, "was" that is, he passed away somewhat recently, only 36 or 7 years old. Amazing pianist. He was so tiny he often posed sitting on someone's lap, such as another musician in the group.
