Pure cold pressed coconut oil is what I use but not full strength, 15 drops in a sterilize eyedrop bottle and the rest is distilled water

Smearing eyelids with hygienic precautions, 4:41 cow ghee,with clean fingers twice a day or as per need gives great relief...as an appropriate, simple ,low cost remedy...at least I got relief after suffering for a year ,after cataract op.and taken treatment from ophthalmologist..

One little trick that I do is blinking to the beat of the song I’m listening to. Just imagine listening to “Stayin’ Alive” and doing not chest compressions, but lid expressions😁

I would also suggest to do some blinking exercises. this can help stimulate natural tears. for the warm compresses, try to aim for at least 10-15 mins for it to be effective. both bruder and optase make mask that sell for around $20 and you can put in the microwave and use quickly. moist heat is better as it penetrates more. alternatively, making your own rice sock or another grain such as barely work well to on a budget.

For anybody struggling with dry eyes. Try the eyebrow exercise. Lift each one, one at a time like ”the rock” look up who the rock is and his famous eyebrow lift lol. Do these for about 30 minutes. Be sure to switch eyebrows! Nobody will share this information and many sites have took my comments down. This has stopped my dry eye completely and it is no where to be found. I wish y'all the best I love you all. #defeatdryeye

DrEyeGuy says to take omega 3 DHA and GL supplements. I hate PF drops. I am allergic to something in those drops. Makes eyes worse. Diet/water/Compresses/blinking and anti glare non RX glasses for PC/reading/etc. WORKS IMMENSELY. I do compresses 3 to 4 times a day.

Dr.Lee ! Will be writing these ideas down and try them just came down with dry eyes 2 week's ago! Went through 3 doctor's GP,(2) optomologist the last one was very through did the test strips in eyes hook a skull scope looking inside through eyes My reading was a 1,should 5 on test strips 3 things of causes diet/stress/ageing/autoimmune system! Rx of Restasis $$$! I'm looking for all options,ideas to deal with dry eyes! This condition just started 2 weeks ago!no problems before hand!thank you as always! For my 👀 only, lolol but seriously!

Hello I put a coconut oil (pea size) on my eye leads, I wash if off twice a day with baby shampoo ,it seems helping. I also breath into my cup of herbal tea, so the steam warms my eyes. Do I do anything wrong, can it harm me?

I was desperate to help my beautiful wife, I love her so much. I am putting on a large pot of water over night to simmer until I can get a humidifier tomorrow as well as warm compresses. I will get her the suggested gell for her hours of sleep, as well as som good artificial tears. Thank you, Dr. Lee!

Mine started appearing last summer when I was running outside. I don't know if it's allergies or being tired is manifesting itself in my eyes or I noticed when I got in the car and was sweating it burned my eyes so maybe I did some damage. I'm hoping cooler weather and fewer allergens will cure this issue on its own.

1. Figure out what your triggers are (heat is a big one) 2. Preservative-free artificial tears 3. Visit your eye doctor if your symptoms don't improve. I have a plug in eye mask. Wasn’t expensive I think under $20 from Amazon or CVS. You can set it for up to 30 min and spray it with some water to add humidity.
