Thanks Michele, I'm glad you described WHY I would want to hit a Fade. Before this, I couldn't figure out the upside to it unless I was trying to get around a tree. You nailed it as always.

I worked so hard to change my shot from fade to draw. But, for sure as I got to lower handicap I know it would be very beneficial to hit both. Mostly, concerned of causing inconsistency in my swing by experimenting.

when you align the club face to the target and grip, does it become open? or is it open because of open stance? or you open the club face and then grip and align? Your videos are simple and to the point. Thanks for all the videos and drills.
@michelelowgolf75013 жыл бұрын
When I align my body left while having the club aiming at the target then only grip, the club face will look open due to the set up.

It doesn't have to be an approach shot, right? As long as you want to control distance and soft landing, or when you dog leg right, true?

great instruction. i’ve played since 9 years old and at age 13 regularly break 80’s. but since age 14 i stopped playing golf. now at age 42 decided to pick up golf again. the swing is there but i lost the touch and swing feeling. is there a way on how to get back the feeling and control after long lay off?
@michelelowgolf75013 жыл бұрын
You basically have to go back basics first. Your body is different now. Take it slow and you will be able to play again. Have fun!

My golf club pro says ball starting direction is where club face is aiming. Hence for fade, aim club face slightly left of target and then open stance to that direction. Is that right? BTW: ingenious click bait! 🙂
@michelelowgolf75013 жыл бұрын
I will say the ball ends at where the club face was aiming at set up. But at set up, if you face is slightly left of target line is totally fine :)

How often does the pro use fade and draw than neutral such as 20-30% of the time?
@michelelowgolf75013 жыл бұрын
I would say it depends on situation. Most of the time they use their stock shot which could be a fade or draw.
