Michell Gyrodec SE Turntable Review

I bought a Gyrodec se from Kronos AV; negotiated a discount and they even travelled six hours to install it. Make sure your amplifier and phonostage are good enough. I can't recommend Kronos highly enough. Thanks Richard and David.

Back in 1977 my stepdad bought a pair of michell loudspeakers. At the time they were totally expensive but... Well worth the cost

I purchased this turntable years ago. I had to sell due to not being able to work due to cancer. Also sold my Von Schweikert speakers. I do miss the sound I was getting back then. Hope to buy it again some day soon or something similar.

I prefer the SE to the full Gyro, it looks better IMO. I've never compared the two in an audition but I'd like to be the SE sounds a bit better too owing to the fact that it has less unnecessary plinth and lid to act as a transducer. I'm in the market for a nice LP12 given that I have all Linn electronics/speakers and love them... but I keep looking at Gyros (in black) and Orbes, I could live with that styling for good. I'm sure an Orbe with an SME V and an Ortofon Cadenza black would satisfy my needs... I need to start saving though.😂

Fine product, but on your next video try playing an LP. Listening to digital sound during a turntable video lacks everything I understand to be logic.
