i've just started this episode and i'm so excited about it. been a viewer since the GnM days and it makes me feel so nostalgic when you all reunite, even for my own life at that time. i'm not sure what the legalities of it would look like, but grace, do you think you'd ever sit down and talk about the MDC into itsgrace transition and the situation around that, even just from your own emotional standpoint? that was such an interesting time and so cool the way you were able to transition from MDC to itsgrace pretty seamlessly with such support from your fellow creators.

If you see this Michelle... Many years ago now you did a video, I think in a bathroom? You were talking about Grace and missing her and that close friendship you had. You talked about jealousy and feeling like she had moved on to new people. That video hit me so hard because I had my own "Grace" in my life and so much of what you were feeling was what I was feeling. I'm so glad you and Grace reconnected again when you did and I'm happy to say my friend and I reunited as well.

That's amazing! Hah I have thought about taking that video down many times, but I haven't because of exactly this, I know other people go through the same. The thing I realized, and maybe you have too, is that I needed to get right with myself and stop making it about the other person (in this case, Grace, but this is a repeating pattern for me in my life) and eventually I got to a totally different place with it, hence us being friends and talking every week now :) I'm glad you found a path as well!!

@@Smush21 I did finally come up with the same realization about myself and the patterns I repeated with friends. When I finally spoke to her about my worries and she put me at ease much like Grace did for you, it was one of the most relieved feelings I had ever had up to that point. I eventually showed her your video (Which I just found and rewatched, not a bathroom in sight, memories play tricks after 7 years) and she laughed about the part with Grace being a flake. My friend told me within a day of knowing her that she cancelled stuff often, or would outright forget meetings but she promised it was never anyone's fault, she was just flaky. We've been friends for 19 years now. We talk at least twice a week. She still sometimes has to cancel last minute and sometime she's busy with the friends she is closer with now, but she's a very good friend and I know always will be :) Thanks for keeping the video up. I'm sure people still find it and it helps.

I'm not a "happy crying mess" after watching it, but I'm on that verge of a few tears. For you, for her, for my friend, for both our moms (Was 10 years for me in January) I normally just listen to the podcasts but I decided to watch the video because I've been watching you both for 12 years now 9Still subscribed to the Grace n' Michelle channel) and I wanted to see you together again. The nostalgia! Not ashamed to admit that I am crying happy tears at this! I remember the house sitting v logs, with weird filters on them and stuff. I miss the simpler days of KZbin, before it became a money making machine. When everyone did it for fun! You were the first person I ever started watching on here, and still do.
