Forever a shame this album (and West Coast Time) was dropped. I honestly think this would be her best album. The heartbreak throughout most of the songs cuts so deep!

Michelle is really good in the country music scene. I think if Michelle went country for her whole career I think country music would have been alive in a good form.

@A Michelle Branch's Fan Thanks because country music is not country. I thought I've been listening to country music but I'm noticing it's become a new style of pop rock from this new era which is cool for me cuz I like pop rock but unfair to other people's perspectives. Acoustic country version seems to be the main key to bring back country by using violins banjo/fiddle

@@SMD24 I think when Michelle moved to country she evolved a lot, it was more "nature". I think its awesome that she kinda combined everything to create her style. like "pop rocountry" or sth like that lol

@A Michelle Branch's Fan Yeah the pop rock country is pretty neat because she incorporated some parts of that style in the first two albums from listening. And then when she did her short country album I find that pretty neat because she didn't necessarily use strong rock or strong pop for that third album. From listening to that small country album I just felt a lot of that country coming out in a good form and realized that's real country music lol
