Michelle barely talked at all in this video. Listening to Ariel go on and on about her own experience was painful and too time consuming. This didn't feel like an interview at all. There was not a lot to take away. The one with John Green is way better as he lets her talk like you should do in an interview/advice session.

Ahhh Ariel 1) this is so cool but 2) you talking about your degree choices was so real for me. I feel like I have two paths, one that’s me going into the ‘smart’ degree that isn’t what I’m naturally gifted in but I like the idea of being in that field. And one that is the topic I am naturally good at and passionate about, but has less job options I like the idea of and isn’t as respected of a degree. It’s hard knowing what to follow, especially when you grow up as that ‘gifted kid’ who is also lower class and never shake the feeling of needing to be seen as smart and successful to have worth. Idk what my point is but what you said was helpful to me as I haven’t seen it talked about in a way I related to so much before. (Also if anyone cares the degrees I’m talking about are medicine vs psychology.)

Awesome! I really think the Huge cost of college is such an issue in America. It stops ppl pursuing higher education, pushes them towards certain courses, puts huge pressure on students, and really informs and impacts your life having a huge debt like that. Not to mention puts it out of the reach of so many. Can any Americans comment, is community college expense wise more reasonable? What numbers are we actually talking here, because the ones I have heard quoted are Insane (like 100k plus...)

Hello, you are probably not going to see this but I could really use some help. I was obsessed with books since I was a little girl but when I started middle school I dived deep into studying and being perfect as a student up until graduation. It’s been 6 years and I have read 10 books.... I am taking a gap year and I really want to find my love for books again but I feel so overwhelmed.
