We cannot really debate that, as we do not have enough documentation (video or otherwise) of every single First Lady, but I will concede that she is, indeed, classy

Michelle’s gift would have been every knitters dream gift. The needle set alone is an over the top gift that many dream of affording. Then all the beautiful wool….once again, a knitters dream basket. I hope they do learn to knit and catch the knitting bug so many of us have come to love and treat Michelle to some fun woolly goodness. (As a knitter, I’m sure those baskets were 500.00 EACH!!!)

True. Morning TV has turned into folks hyping themselves--a cult of personalities rather than informative journalists. Switch to NPR! But Michelle Obama seems a woman of substance and intelligence, and one trait of intelligent people is that whether they are talking with kings or commoners, they can make people feel as if they matter.

Beyonce sang at the first Obama inaugural ball. I'm not a fan of Beyonce's music or her husband's, but I respect and appreciate her social consciousness and admire his efforts at freeing wrongly imprisoned people. THAT'S the way to use fame and fortune. So if anyone deserves fans, they would seem to.

Why can't this Once-Up-a-Time First Lady keeps popping up all over the place as if she's the most important citizen in the world. Many Former First Ladies comported themselves with dignity and grace while they enjoy a life away from the cameras. I reference, the late Barbara and Laura Bush, Mrs Reagan, Mrs Carter. Mrs Clinton remained in the news because she was Secretary of State and Presidential candidate. Are you in competition with your husband?
