My hobbies now are writing, reading, gardening, painting, and training for a marathon, oh and I’m creating a terrarium. I attempt roller skating too😅 For fun I travel, go to free events, festivals, museums, game nights, challenge thrifting, picnic a lot in good weather, trying recipes with a friend, etc.

I’m glad you touched on this. Living life to the fullest , what that looks like for me! I will say at the age 42 I have definitely poured a lot into my husband and kids. At this point in my life I enjoy traveling and reading. I love riding and listening to music , going out to concerts and comedy shows. I do not care for clubbing anymore or going out and staying out late nights.

I recently discovered that I enjoy putting together puzzles (1000 pieces) and its great bonding time. When you are done you can either frame them or take them apart and gift them to someone else.

Girl finding fun as an adult is something you have to really be intentional about. You should try finding two or three other girls that you guys could do biweekly hosting girls night in… You guys could do paint and canvas, or you guys could go out and do a new class to learn a new hobby… Flower making, pottery, you know… It’s easier when you have friends around to do things with that everyone enjoys. this year I committed to creating a sense of community within friendships and it’s probably the best thing I could have ever done. Cheers to finding a new adult hobby 🥂

I love going to different cities and seeing live music, eating alone in restaurants, making art and visiting museums and art galleries in various cities too. Maybe it's because I am autistic and have ADHD but I prefer travelling alone. I love taking my children away too but I make sure I also have time for myself 💣🐚♥️

Oh Shelly!! Hey gurl HEY!! As a childless adult walking for fitness is my new favorite hobby. People sleep on how relaxing and refreshing walking truly is. I’m Im gonna get my 12,000 plus steps in per day. Fitness is huge on my list of adulting. There’s this KZbinr called BowFlex Barbie and when I tell you her step classes give me life. Also random long drives, following a healthy recipe I would normally not try. Creating random picture collages. Watching fashion shows for inspiration. Even subscribing to some random youtube channel of someone in a foreign country doing random things like keeping up their farm, cooking and cleaning all bring me joy. Honeyjubu and Country Life Vlogs are 2 of my faves. My list is long and strong!! I forgot Kdramas!! Omg!! American TV has nothing on the good kdramas out here. Lol I hope you find your flow with your chosen hobby!! Life is definitely for living!! ❤
