~ Pastel Rainbow Hair Dye TUTORIAL ~

hello friends!!! I am back!!
so basically I changed my hair and I sound like an old lady in this video but who cares (me actually)
**btw yeah i know i have like no hair, I have short layers at the top of my head from evening out breakage and I'm also growing out my sidecut AND I currently have an undercut AND thick bangs lol trust me, usually I have way more hair but I decided to cut it all off lmfao
MATERIALS/PRODUCTS:
- clips
- gloves
- bowls (1 for each colour)
- tint brush
- old towel
- old t-shirt
- hair dye
- cheap WHITE conditioner
- Popsicle sticks
DYES MENTIONED:
Pink dye = Bubblegum Pink by N'Rage (not my favourite...)
Purple dyes = Mostly Purple Haze and a couple drops of Ultra Violet by Manic Panic to make it slightly more cool-toned
Mint dyes = Mostly Atomic Turquoise and a couple drops of Green Envy by Manic Panic to make it more mint

+chloe carey if you have dark hair, like I do, I definitely think you should bleach it so it shows up well. after I bleached mine, I made sure to condition it well & I think there are products that can help your hair. also, I don't really worry about matching my hair with my outfit. :D

I've used it on blue from splat and it took about like 10 I think but blues hard to get out so any other color or pastels wouldn't take as many also I didn't leave mine in as long as most people in paranoid about my hair breaking or falling out

+Hajiji Kero If you do it right, you can get it in one bleaching session. You leave it in for about 30-40 minutes, depending on the developer you use, then you use a toner to get it the rest of the way.

OMG this color is SO #HairPorn right here!!!! I just did some similar colors, but since my hair was blonde highlights, my natural roots and dimensial, so it ended up making my blonde hair just darker. The ends are nice but my root/crown are Is just too dark. 😩

No pastel colors. You can only DYE it darker and BLEACH it lighter. If you want to go pastel bleach it to a reaaaally light blonde (a shade similar to her blonde) first.

If you dye your unbleached hair you will only get a bluish or pink shimmer. Depending on the texture and health of your hair the shimmer will be more or less visible. The unhealthier your hair the better you can see it.

if you wanna avoid bleaching your hair use hydrogen peroxide mixed with dish soap and vitamin c and leave it in for 30 minutes. Follow with conditioning it well

I love the way your hair came out, but was really disappointed in how the video was put together. Everything was moving so fast that I couldn’t follow what you were doing, and the music made it really hard to hear what you were saying. Your voice was really soft, and even with the volume turned up as high as it goes I couldn’t follow everything you said. The fast forward on the visual made it impossible to really see exactly what you did. Would love to see you post this video how it actually shot to begin with without all the weird editing.

It’s just blue, pink and purple. Those 3 colors do not make rainbow. And it’s really... chunky..... like one half of your head is like just all one color and the rest is multi (you can tell cause you even had to break it apart with your hands at the end to show the colors under that sea of blue you put over all the left side of your head). But okay. Nice try I guess. I’m really tired of looking up rainbow hair tutorials and finding these tri-color “rainbow” ones. Are lots of people colorblind? Rainbows have way more colors than 3. 😐

Also I was like 15 here lmao why are u here I’m literally a hairstylist now. Also just so you’re aware, the blue section you mentioned were the top layers, and had to be moved to see the colours underneath bc not every single strand of hair can be shown without moving it around, obviously lol.
