I randomly searched for curly hair 4 days back and your video on "How to start the Curly Girl method" was the third recommendation, curiosily clicked on the video and all I could hear was CGM. Googled CGM and wow it's actually true and it applies to my hair type. This was a whole new world for me also a world I wasn't aware of. I remember once I decided to skip a wedding just before I wasn't supposed only because my hair wasnt manageable. Your videos give me the hope that I would be able to manage my 2a/2b high porosity hair (yes still figuring out if it is 2a or 2b). True frog is one of my favourite brands and their deep conditioning mask is my all time favourite coz its so balanced. But I am yet to try their new launches and after this video of yours, I just cant wait to try the cream. For me the section with the cream looks slightly better. It's been few months since i started CGM following your instructions. Initially i used fix my curl leave in conditioner and gel. They were good. The I started doing experiments with other products. Requil conditioner does not give me any slip while detangling, I m using it as leave in cream. Enliven hold 5 doesn't give me any cast at all. I did apply according to your instructions but in vain. Other products like aish.ba, arata, blunt, curl up are little on costlier side for me. I might try these products if they are budget friendly becuase i need to use much more in one go due to lenght and volume. U have always been like a guide. I dont use Instagram😶

Hey Michelle, as always - loved the video. It's a daily ritual now to look forward to your videos every 1-2 weeks. I love how you broke down the difference between the curl cream and leave in and difference in terms of hold and volume. As a curly wavy girl who loves longer curls (but ALSO volume and definition) it's always a pickle to choose what you want more. 😭 I'm so excited to try these products (admittedly I've been a sucker for it's cutest branding from the longest time) - especially their hair mask and curl cream looks like the dream. As someone who likes my natural wavy-curls, a gel between medium to strong hold is just what I prefer for styling! 💕

I love the truefrog dc especially the fragrance 😍 Love that the curl cream has protein. Will definitely try it out. I need a balanced routine since I live in a region with high humidity.
