Great video!! A man that I just started seeing found out it was my daughter‘s 26th birthday and he sent her a beautiful bouquet of flowers! My estrogen levels surged that day!! :) He’s extremely giving & kind and I find myself wanting to give give give but I’m learning to hold a little back :) I’m an extremely independent financially stable female and have always had to do everything myself - it’s so wonderful to have someone that wants to help me. :)

I hear you 😊 Thank you 4 sharing your experience I now see how pulling back or resisting the need to reciprocate in kind is worth the effort. To leave your man feeling that he succeeded in making you happy IS His reward. By not being open or receptive is denying him. Eye opening 👀 They just want to brighten your day not compete ~ I have to learn to graciously accept a compliment with a warm smile 😊

I’m so used to meeting a man halfway, proving myself as strong & independent but that’s not how men perceive me. He feels challenged and closed off, uninvited, unwelcomed. Certainly not well received, lol. Its an invisible impenetrable glass wall, leaving no room for them to give and no room for me to receive 😳 It’s a delicate balance of fluidity between feminine & masculine energy

Wow, that’s so profound !!! I can see myself in your comment 😳 Understanding how to be in Feminine energy versus masculine can be so confusing. Being open to graciously receiving a compliment for instance is allowing oneself to feel vulnerable versus guarded. It can be an awkward uncomfortable feeling. However a simple Thank You with a genuine smile goes a long way, showing your gratitude is sharing your energy with the person who gave it to you. It’s an energy exchange. Women operating in their masculine energy tend to do for themselves tend to over give to others because she may be over compensating being an under-receiver. It becomes a subconscious or unconscious behaviour, response or pattern. Being mindful of how to reciprocate appreciation through words is a work in progress, a skill developed over time. It’s a natural progression that gets better by practising mindfulness. It takes Practise being receptive to a compliment with a welcoming Thank You 😊

14:20 you are responding to him. always responding. you do not have to give to a man. A man ultimately wants to feel successful in giving to you. because you are receiving, and because you are actually in love, as you receive, his own female side is being nourished and supported. so he can be both masculine and feminine the same time. You, on the other hand, are being able to receive someone doing for you so your own male side you are appreciating him doing for you, you are actually appreciating your own male side.

I have always been very independant, mostly since I had such bad experiences with men, I did not want to need them. I am getting a lot better, mostly from good advice I get here and 2nd Act TV. My ex boyfriend was more into a situationship than a relationship, I get that now and I fell into that trap of thinking if I did more, he would be more interested. Well the opposite happened, he got so lazy and casual, that I left him and he was stunned, could not understand why. Bt I have a new frriend and I make a point of saying things like "good idea" or "man that is a good suggestion" and sincerley appreciate the things he does for me and sometimes pretending to be a little helpless so he can help me. I am a work in progress lol

Can you reverse these things when you're already with someone, but not all the way? I am in an uncommitted situation with a man since 2 years. He does love me and things have progressed.... But I was the giver and the doer and we had sex right away. My self concept has changed though and our dynamic has too. I would like to know how to inspire him to give and do and invest more. The sex is out of this world, but I want more. And he used to always take steps back when he was too emotional. Then I started chasing. I'm sure I'm not the only one in a situation like this.
@munix93513 жыл бұрын
With all due respect. If he loved you so much he would have married you. I suggest taking steps back. Ask for a break and work on your soul. Let him use that space to decide if he can actually value and invest you. For a change like this, I find women need space to really transform themselves. Men also need space to decide if they value you. If you dont make drastic changes, men will waste your time for many years. My thoughts!
@conniememmolo3 жыл бұрын
Based on previous experience, he's not invested in a future with you the way you want. If you really want to know for sure and want things to change, let him know what you want and tell him that you are going to give him time to figure it out while you date other men. A few things will happen: 1. He realizes what he wants is you and steps up. He starts giving you what you want (don't commit at the first sign. Let him prove himself over and over again. this is important because he's going to miss what you had and give you a few small things to keep you on the hook. Really be aware of this) 2. You are going to meet men that meet the needs you were missing with him and realize that he's not the right guy and be able to move on I have been in your position exactly and unfortunately the best advice I can give you if you are looking for the right relationship is to let him go for 6 months while you really make an effort to work on yourself, date and not think about him. If you guys are meant to be, 6 months apart is insignificant.

I recently met a man who told me right off the bat (during general dating conversation) that he loved it when a woman cooked for him, gave him back rubs, and just generally did stuff for him. I'm confused as to how to proceed after that because most coaches say not to be the giver but to allow the man to give to you. Now, I'm sure that ideally BOTH partners should give to each other once you're in a relationship, but in the beginning how should you proceed if you're dealing with a man who says this. Is he simply trying to use me? Is he a less masculine type male, what?
@twinkletooty83583 жыл бұрын
