I totally feel you on just cleaning the kids rooms yourself! My kids are older and FULLY capable of cleaning their own rooms. For the most part, I make them do it but a few times a month I have to go in and do a reset because they just don’t clean/organize the way I like it and I don’t have the energy to sit in there and tell them where to put things one by one. They’ll learn eventually but I want them to be kids and have fun, not stress out about their rooms being immaculate (that’s my job!) Take it easy girl, the end of pregnancy is exhausting!

The girls are still to little to know how to organize their room. You have time to teach them. Once they have their new room together they will enjoy the change and it will be special. So one day, the bus stopped to drop me off after school and the kids were like "what is all that stuff in the yard!?" Hi Michelle! When I lived in Miramar, FL, I woke up, opened my bedroom door and walked towards the bathroom and there was a big curled up snake in the hallway!!! I freaked out and managed to get it out with a broom. Another time I woke up in the middle of the night and opened the refrigerator and once I closed it there was a snake on the counter with the neck almost reaching towards me. Thankfully, my step uncle was visiting and he got it out! We lived on a 2.5 acre lot so there were a ton of snakes, bugs, frogs and just grosssssss things 🤢🤮🫣

There are multiple varieties of watermelon...the inside of them is called the meat...it isn't rare to find yellow meat and it is perfectly good...my favorite watermelon variety is black diamond...they are hard to find and aren't cheap though, but the meat is so YUMMM!!!

You have to be consistence in teaching them and put the organization aside except for once a week. It's good for children to learn how to clean-up their toys when then are done playing with something. Start with allowing them to play with only one toy or set at a time and when they are done, put it up and they can get the next thing they want to play with. It's all about getting in a habit of picking-up, putting-up and cleaning-up after yourself. If they have a playroom, that's where they play, not other rooms. (Not talking about you reading to them or family games). They can also pull their bedding up over the bed. No, it's not going to be perfect nor totally organized, but mommy can do that once a week as they are learning more and more how to put them up. I guarantee you will have plenty of smiles when you organize after them. Mommy and daddy has to also pick-up, put-up and clean-up as they go, and they will learn watching you. You will save a lot of time in the end when everyone learns to do these three things. :)

We had an iguana in our girls’ toilet. A whole a** iguana. My husband took bbq tongs and picked it out, and ran through our house to chuck it on our front lawn. The thing was at least a foot long, so sort of a baby, but still. I have no idea how it got into our toilet, unless it swam up from the septic tank, or came down from the roof (they like to sunbathe on our tile roof).

I've ditched cleaning products for three years now. I still have a bottle of multi purpose cleaner, it has lasted three years. I find it sufficient to just wipe counters with a damp towel. i don't really get why cleaning products are necessary. to sanitize? i feel there is not much to sanitize in the kitchen or anywhere else in the house besides maybe the bathrooms at most. or maybe i just don't have kids (yet).

Unless it's clearly spoiled, bugs on your veggies is a good sign bc it means they were not sprayed with pesticides (or at least not very strong ones) just give them a wash and you're good to go 😋

OMG! I bought several cauliflowers and broccoli for my vegetable salad. While cleaning the cauliflower, I found that two of the three cauliflowers were infested with worms. You can imagine how startled I was. I placed them in a grocery bag and returned them to the store. I was asked if I wanted a refund, wanted another cauliflower or something else in the store. I just got a refund and returned home to finish my dinner. Suffice it to say, I have NEVER purchased cauliflower from our grocery since.

I grew up eating all three watermelons bc there is also orange love them all. Also i think people should really change their mindsets on cleaning by definition of it a mess is not filth having toys on the floor in a play room for days isnt filth and as far as time management set a 20 min timer and get as much as possible done on your checklist ityll surprise you. And also i doubt that was a roach it was probably a water-bug the come inside in the summer to find water especially in the south.

For the creepy crawly question One night I was walking to the kitchen to get something to drink and my intuition told me to stop walking So I did and turned on the light I was about to step ON A BABY SNAKE!!!! I promptly ran to my sisters room freaking out and that was a whirlwind to get it out. We’re so used to finding scorpions inside and rattlesnakes outside but a snake has never been in the house before Hated it Arizona life

I’ve had those tree frogs in my house before. I think they are cute…as long as they are outside. The first time I saw one inside it was at night and I thought I saw something jump. I look behind the sink and there was the frog. I freaked out and yelled for my husband. He had a hard time catching it because it was so fast. But he finally caught it and got it outside. I’ve had to catch them myself. I use a mason jar and let it go outside. I’ve had water bugs and other big insects get inside. I can’t stand those!! They are disgusting to me. We pay for pest control. But sometimes they still get inside here and there. Also one night about a year ago, I saw one of my cats playing with something in my bathroom. I was like “please don’t be what I think that is”. I get up and look and yup, it was a dead mouse. I don’t know if my cat killed it or found it dead. My husband wasn’t home to deal with it for me, so I grabbed the broom and dustpan and toss it outside where I wouldn’t see it.

I agree Water bugs are gross! The good thing about cats is they get those critters for you lol! We had a mouse once too and I made my husband deal with it lol! The little green frogs arn’t bad I ended up just grabbing it and putting it in our backyard. Just strange to see it hopping around lol! Thanks for sharing!

Omg I always find lady bugs in canned green beans and canned spinach. I quit buying it 🤷🏻‍♀️ And I have had a bird in my house because something is open on the fireplace part by the roof- flute maybe? I can’t remember what it’s called. Anyway, I literally go into panic mode, drop to the floor and cover my head and scream like a child. It would probably be comical later but it’s horrible at the time. 🥴😅
