I remember coming across Michelles videos, watching her basically transform via makeup. It became a guilty pleasure of mine as guys weren't expected to find videos about makeup interesting. But it later helped me learn techniques for cosplay and larp. Plus, I thought Michelle is so pretty. I want to watch more of her. Years later, I see Swoozie in her content. So I check out his videos. And yes, the Disney employee videos were the main draw for me. I even tried to apply, multiple times, to the Disney college program. But they never let me work. So Swoozies videos became cathartic. Even today, I watch and enjoy every single new video that comes out. Many of them very relatable.

Matrix was 1999, I was in my early 20s living in NYC, and my younger brother was visiting and when he visited I always took him to a movie I heard buzz on- we saw Matrix, and as you already pointed out, it was one of those movies that when we left, we knew we saw something spectacular, never before seen something special. BTW, that was back in the ‘movie phone’ days of getting movie tix in NYC. If u know, u know. Love your podcast, new subbie.

Thank you for talking about cancel culture 🙏🏻. I’ve been waiting for someone on a high platform to address how chaotic it has become. We’re all humans who will always make mistakes and constantly need to learn and grow. Some people may need a shock to big mistakes they’ve made but there are so many minor mistakes made that people have been cancelled and for what? Why shame everyone for every mistake. This doesn’t help the mental health crisis we are facing. It reminds me of when I was a child with very strict parents. I was shamed for everything I had ever done and was never able to speak out of fear for being punished. I could do everything I was told to do and I will still be shamed because no matter what angle, I was wrong. I was never able to grow as a person until I moved out. Sadly I’m sure my response will garter some negative response or offend someone out there. I want to put out there that that is not my intention. I think we can all agree to disagree for those with different opinions.

It also seemed like a genuine convo between friends, which I loved, but I was also expecting somewhat of an interview of swoozie and I felt like he asked her most of the questions.
