I watched the first episode and I feel Kim was in her element playing a rich bougie agent (something she is familiar with in real life minus the agent part) but I do believe she delivered her lines really well. So yes she definitely impressed me.

I love that dessert! I'm Hmong and we call it "nava" (correct spelling is "nam vam" if you wanna say it right. lol) I agree with the pronunciation of lychee (lee-chee). The way I tell friends and family that the ones that are pronouncing it wrong are "non asian" that says "lie-chee". No offense to the ones that pronounce it as "lie-chee". 😂

I call it lee-chee but I think the reason people call it lie-chee in Asian countries is because it originated in southern China, and the word in Cantonese (what most southern Chinese speak) is lie-zee with the respective accents and stuff, so they’re basically saying it how it sounds in cantonese and how it translates into their respective Asian languages
