What is this Average POWER? Before there was another formula for average power?

This formula Is NOT average power is ACTIVE POWER. Px. I call "RMS" power or "effective" power.

@@deniz-gunayNote that this formula he mentioned here is for power consumed by a RESISTOR. This formula here will give you the same result as the formula in a previous video which was; Pavg=(1/2)*Vm*Im*Cos(phi_v-phi_i). Because the voltage and current phase difference will go to zero for a resistor and cos(0)=1 and you'd be left with Pavg=(1/2)*Vm*Im which is the same as Pavg=Vrms*Irms and this will give you the same result as the formula mentioned in this video for a resistor which is Pavg=Irms^2*R.
