Michi Marshall, Kijafa Vick, Aja Crowder, Sharelle Rosado and Terricka Cromartie are back and kickoff Season 2 of I AM WOMAN. The women catch up and follow each other up on the details of their “Hot Girl” Summer.
The women then share their unique journeys of motherhood and discuss the differences between planned and unplanned parenthood. Sharelle goes on to discuss the importance of talking and educating their children on sex at an early age. Michi follows up with the question, Who cheats more? Women or men? The cast goes on to give their own unique perspective on this topic. Chef Tre joins the cast and gives his perspective on cheating while serving Cinnamon-Streusel Cake for desert.

I appreciate Sharelle Rosado realness !!! She has done the work and it shows !!!! When I hear ladies say he doesnt make me happy I cringe because you have to make yourself happy. Your partner and other ppl are not responsible for your happiness, stop outsourcing and take responsibility. The relationship is just another layer of what is going on.

Welcome back ladies. Thanks Sharelle, Terricka and Aja for always keeping it real and being genuine. I really enjoyed Sherelle's story. I might be wrong but I feel Michi enjoy asking about the others business but she rarely ever open up about her family or business. But I love her too.

@@katreniasmith8816 3 I totally agree. The host is known to direct the conversation and I also noticed sometimes after she passed the question to others and it's fine round, they bring it back to her to answer the question too. The ladies really have a unique bond and balance each other and I love it.

Aja and Channing may have the best relationship of the ladies just from watching the show IMO, they’ve been married a long time and they’re really into each other and they’re really comfortable with each other, it’s nice to see. I also don’t get this body count thing but I also don’t think people talk about sex enough in relationships, like what you like and what you’re comfortable with, if people had these conversations most of these people in terrible relationships would go their separate ways.

I really love Sharelle and feel that she’s finally come out of her shell a lot more. I feel she kinda gets the wrap for being “the girlfriend” since they’ve all been married and through ups and downs publicly and privately in their marriages. But this season Sharelle came out swinging and I can relate to some of what she said this episode. Love that she brings a different perspective to the show.

I feel the same way! Women, especially athletes and entertainers wives can be so judgmental. She a self made boss. This wasn’t a come up for her. It was simply an addition, respectfully to both her and Ocho. Some of the women do give off a weird vibe… almost like Mean Girls… you can’t sit with us feeling, but I’ll say less.

Good episode!! Sherell and Aja bring a fun balance to the show because of their openness. Michi seems to be a bit critical of others and maybe that's due to her being a Psychiatrist or having a Psychology degree. It used to change the direction of the conversation because the other ladies wouldn't challenge her opinion, but I can see Sherell doing it in a way that will force the conversation to be open.

Just like Chad and Channing does on the man part of the show. You also got to remember Michi been thought a lot. She had her problems too in the relationship. Brandon always said the first five years of marriage for them was hard. The last five years they are finally an union.

Etc. please don’t go into conversations that aren’t meaningful. Especially when you guys are with Men who are above the mess and you guys are as well. I am here for I AM WOMAN but we need content that isn’t about the Men but about you! This shouldn’t be about them. This should be about YALL.’ Can’t wait for the season. LOVED. I wouldn't say she looks unhappy in her marriage but I would say she is unhappy in the season that they are in due to his job. She is missing her life partner. His schedule is super busy now as a coach. She was use to him being home to help with their 6 kids and spending time with him. It was 5 years he was consistently home. That takes a toll on you. Its overwhelming to do it all alone. His work schedule stinks. But if you watch back you will notice she has a laid back personality and is a bit of a tomboy. (Her words) Shes the Fred of the bunch. I rather her show her true feelings. At least she contributed. Lol

Terricka was 100% correct when she said Sistas get attacked for having more than 1 guy, yet wyt women get celebrated. 100% on point. Wyt women have things like feminism (which was never meant to benefit Sistas) and wyt privilege to protect them. Sistas don't have that protection. Nor will they ever. But the question is do u want or need that type of protection- Considering the act. As for the body count, now that I'm a 35 year old Man, the thought still sits in my mind, but I don't think about it as much as I did when I was younger/more jealous. At this stage, I'm only concerned about who she stays in contact with when she's with me. Mainly because I don't want to be out with her, and then some crazy ex, that she still communicates with, shows up at a restaurant or something, tryna shoot me.

These women are phenomenal. Michi is my girl. These women are the epitome of role models. They are educated and well spoken. You definitely understand that they are with their mates who just so happen to be athletes but if they were regular guys these women have their own career paths and can take care of themselves. Which let you know they’re with their men because they want to be. Not because they’re dependent on them.

Michi - IMO, a planner and anything outside of that she doesn’t like. She gives me the vibe that she is very controlling. She seems like one that isn’t for surprises. She gives me the “Im a private person” vibe and wants to know everyone’s dirty laundry but hides hers. Secretly she’s judge mental because she is such the planning type. You can tell with her reaction to Sherelle. Aja - She’s laid back cool personality. She looks and acts very satisfied in life. Sherelle is an open book and you have to appreciate people like her. Genuine about her history and she’s relatable. Terricka - I’m not sure what I’m seeing with her. Her eyes look tired ALL the time but she seems ok. Kajafa - Is my least favorite I just don’t like the foolishness that comes out her mouth I can tell she says all types of ignorant stuff like a kid. Her asking about a yeast infection that was the just ignorant any thinking person knows besides the obvious female issues that Terricka meant she doesn’t say no. I could respect it more if she asked. does she have sex on her menstrual cycle. I just don’t feel her before and now.

I agree with everything you have said about the ladies . I thought I was the only one who thought Terricka looking tired all the time. All of them have a good chemistry. My fave is Aja and Michi. I don't agree with Terricka about Jlo. I think she always has an underlying motive to dating these men, ie (attention and or staying in the trending news.) None of her relationships besides Marc Anthony with whom she had kids with, looked genuine and seemed believable. It's like her media team or agent tells her "ooooh date this guy and you'll be still in the trending news". It has nothing to do with the stereotypes of being a "fast tail" women of color.

I was so fucked up when I got cheated on. Look, it's funny how you can honestly think that your partner can do no wrong, especially when you guys are doing the live in, planning and preparing for a better future. Look I will say the rough times( money low) fuck up everything...like real talk. I think men have a hard time accepting the fact that they are wanted for them. But seriously, I was messed up inside. I felt discounted, taken for granted, ashamed. Yo laying in bed next to a man after he cheated is the most disgraceful feeling. I mean I remember laying in bed after cooking our meal feeling like damn this mf don't have a clue what's going on inside. I didn't know how to cope so I would just lose control, instead of leaving I fought, metaphorically to keep it but also to inflict pain. I think I was so toxic in love that I made him choose me against everyone cause I could even though I knew we'd never win in the way that was healthy or that was made for me! Being dangerously in love is one of the best feelings but it's also the most unknown, and the one that can really reek havoc. Honestly I keep it player now cause the withdrawals I had was a mix of being anchored to the bottom of the ocean and being thrown in a mixer with so many emotions and never knowing when it will end!! I hate that drowning feeling! Sorry I had to dump cause telling it like this is rare and hearing it as I type it is so freeing! Thank you ladies!!! Yall got me super emotional even though questions are asked in fun, cognitively thinking threw them hit's diff!!! Love you Michi, Relle, Kijfa and Asia, thanks for sharing your wisdom as wives and mom's and business women. I don't have this in my life so thanks cause have to be it to myself !!! 💕💕💕

You never really see it co-relationship cause it’s never really that libra scale of weighing whose worth more I was so busy fighting for love. I say that to say, now out, separated from the partnership I saw my worth , how plans went down the drain, how he might of never owned the part he should of been playing by default as my man!! Being a black couple is one of the most uncomfortable pedestals. I was so busy trying to get it right for all the times it was wrong generationally for me!!! Sucks fr!!!

No I’m not in it. But although I was gone, the familiarity never left. I would take my usual route home, and be in tears. I’d walk through the door alone. To be honest although I was gone my mind, my heart and the partnership was hovering over me a long time. That halo of the good times, the beef I had with him….I let it go…. It took some molding though, had to reprogram back to how I was independently!!! You got me emotional all over again lol.

Body count is something that is normally discussed between teenagers and the 20 somethings. When you get older, you realize that everyone has a past. You're just happy to have a partner that doesn't have a serious STD. I think it does matter to men especially though. If it didn't, it wouldn't keep coming up. Physically, I think it matters because the more partners you have, the more you put yourself at risk for contracting a disease. Spiritually, I think it matters because after you've had sex with that hundredth person as a physical transaction only, how do you connect with "the one" on that level. Even if you suppress the thought of your partners "body count" no one wants someone that has given themselves to the "whole world".
@Stev0Speakz
