Michigan deserved that game. Louisville recruited basketball players "Illegally" and Michigan was asked if they wanted the title. Coach Beilein said that they lost fair and square. He doesn't need a national championship to know that he had a great season with that team. GO BLUE!
@anishmalpeddi15883 жыл бұрын
so sad he left, but howard has done a great job so far, especially with that amazing start last season and has already proven himself to be worthy for the next couple years in my opinion

The NCAA is so stupid that it effected you all too... "recruited illegally" lmao. Little facts here... the stripper stuff started in mid-late 2011. At that time, all 5 starters on this Louisville team + Hancock were either already there or had already committed. Or as in Hancock's case, transferred in. He came to UL in 2011, but had to sit out due to the transfer rule and multiple shoulder surgeries on top of that. Literally the ONLY other key player to come in after the strippers was Montrezl Harrell, only because Va Tech fired their coach, where he was originally committed to. So as you can see, they didn't "cheat" at all, to win that title like the corrupt NCAA wants you to believe. This is why they at least restored the stats when Hancock took them to court. Also why the banner still hangs, just outside now for everyone to see 24/7/365.

@@jasonmilly3320 there was solid evidence with the title ripped from louisville because they paid players to play on the team.. it’s not little facts it’s straight up evidence

THE 2012-13 Michigan cbb roster had the most good players of any of their teams from Cazzie Russell days till current, the 1989 team had the best pros and the 2021 team is the most complete and connected team ever - probably because of the respect for a long term NBA star coach!

Unfortunate officiating loss to Louisville but an otherwise fantastic tournament run for a great team. If they all come back next year they will blow it up again.

Mitch Mcgary.... what could have been. If the NCAA's archaic rules in regards to marijuana use reflected the current time then McGary's presence could have been the difference maker in pushing the Stauskas' led team over the edge and into the national title game again. What a shame!

It’s so much fun to screw people’s brackets up. The thing is Louisville was striped of the title because they were paying players to come to their college so Louisville had an advantage. But even though Belien knew, he still said, we lost fair and square.
@ethanwakeman25786 жыл бұрын
Joe Stablein I agree! Even though Louisville cheated, we still lost! I think Belien made a good choice to not take the 2013 title because they lost and in order to get that trophy you have to earn it! So let’s hope Michigan can take it this year! Go Blue!
