Can we talk truth. Harbaugh and staff recruited QB pooorly through out his tenure. JJ was his only legit get and Davis does not count as he left and therefore had to be retained by this staff. But Jim is to blame for the transition mess and inability to secure QB and WR. Bellamy should have been gone. But what of Kirk Campbell? He knew what he had at QB all of the past two seasons. WTH is he all about?

Any reasonable observer saw this coming. What I do not understand is why anyone was expecting a lot this year? With the staff turnover, an unproven head coach, a new O line and an obvious drop off at QB (which I blame the staff for not getting a guy from the portal) plus the substandard play by the defense, this is a rebuilding team. Add to that, the team is coming off a national title and all the Stallions drama, these opponents are smelling blood. And when a team like Arkansas State can compete in Ann Arbor -- ouch! The fan base better get ready for a lot of struggling this year. Michigan this year feels like a MAC-level team as demonstrated against Arkansas State, I see possibly two B10 wins and it is likely less than .500 record - 5-7?

We all get it and should have known the offense and QB room was not gonna win us games. When are we gonna start calling for an answer to the D issues. That's the only reason we all had hope this season, and that has been our biggest letdown. Texas was ripping them from the 1st drive.

The team looks as if they weren't pushed hard enough in training camp. There seems to be a lack of fire and physicality in comparison to the last two years. The team.doesn't seem to be physically strong. The downgrade in coaching is more than I imagined it would be.

Thinking that wins can only be vacated if there is an ineligible player on the field is a misunderstanding of the NCAA bylaws. The NCAA has the power to vacate wins when ineligible players are not involved. The NCAA has done this before (Penn State). And they can do it again.

@@MichiganVOCFB you have no way of saying that will not happen in such absolute terms. You don’t know. And if any source inside Michigan has been telling people this, why would you believe them? Its obvious there have been so many people inside the athletic program there making either false or at minimum delusional statements. You have said this much about the coaching staff when it comes to their preseason statements about this team. I just simply stated that the NCAA has the power to vacate wins in this situation. And im saying they have a strong incentive to do so, because the rest of college football is really unhappy about this. Thats fine if any of us want to debate the language of the bylaws. But none of us can be absolutely sure about it and none of us can say an expectation on the win vacation topic is hilarious or delusional. Certainly, the NCAA has the power to issue a post season bowl ban in this situation. There is no language in the bylaws to cling to and say that wont happen. Why would the NCAA not issue a post season ban on a scandal of this magnitude? Again Im just saying the consequences of a minor punishment would be destructive to college football, and the NCAA knows it. I think a more serious punishment than you described is a reasonable prediction.

That seems really far fetched, because those games were played without any advanced scouting advantage. Im only talking about games being vacated where the advanced scouting occured and Stallons was on the sideline.

We re bad all around from top to bottom. Wink has taken what originally was the staple ( scheme wise) of our defense and has made it complicated for the players. He has too much of an ego to give minter a call and ask him, how exactly did you simplify the scheme for the players. Mcdonald took the same approach, he simplified everything and focused on basics. Tackling, controlling the line of scrimmage and then did periodic installs. Hate to beat a dead horse but Davis Warren simply isn't " college game ready" while he may have a good arm, he CANNOT go through all his reads. 1. The offensive line hasn't gelled yet and he doesn't have enough time. 2. The receivers that typically are the 2nd and 3rd reads are giving up on thiee routes because now they're simply running out there not to see the ball. And falling down on top of it. 3. The receiver coach ( forgot his name) needs to be let go.....period. 4. We have maybe 3 winnable games, I don't see us beating msu, osu, Washington, oregon, usc, and even Indiana. This is what happens when you hire from the inside instead of branching out and getting proven position coaching. I've already checked out of this season. We re likely 6-6 if we re lucky
