He's a Michigan kid. He knows what the rivalry means. With NIL, Sherron needs to manage culture with all the talent coming in. So, bringing this kid in for culture makes sense.

Sherrone said about two months ago, he wants to "...build a fence around Michigan", meaning he'll put a large focus on homegrown skill. I really think he'll be a legendary coach here at Michigan. I can just feel it with the way the players respond to him. 💛💙🤟

First and foremost amazing channel fellas keep up the great work. Watched every minute of Ferris and Michigan football as a booster for both. He will be a great pickup for my Wolverines. Physical size. Protects with an attitude. A few techniques Coach Moore will clean up I’m sure. But overall this is a great pickup and I expect him to start. Sick my Dawgs are losing him but he’s a 3 time national champ so him heading to AA will be a great fit.

I think his beard will be a major focus going forward and many people will try to talk about it and because of this some players on the team will feel less masculine and it will eventually ruin the program from the inside out as players will start playing with barbies instead of focusing on the gameplan.

Absolutely agree, but so many factors enter into it for the portal players one never knows for sure if UM had a legit chance to fulfill the player’s wishes.

You know how sad it is that we’re missing on everyone in the portal that we have to now recruit at the D2 level? Maybe we can snag a few D2 wide receivers since Ron Bellamy can’t do his job.

The jump from DII is more than significant. This kid may have the measurables, sure, but the biggest difference is the kids across from him will have the measurables and then some, and their athleticism will be very different from DII kids. I highly doubt that he starts, but he may prove to be a serviceable back-up. Evan Link note: met his brother and he mentioned how Evan had never played right tackle in high school and that he thought a lot of his struggles were from that switch. He definitely looks more comfortable at left tackle.

There's something going on with Michigan recruiting that no one's talking about. The inability to get WRs is obvious -- our passing game has been weak the past 2 years even when we had a 1st Round QB. UM will have to overpay to get WR help. But what I don't understand is their complete inability to land elite OL talent out of the portal considering UM has won the Joe Moore award 2 out of the past 3 seasons going into 2024. Yes, the OLINE wasn't great this year, but that's because we lost our top 6 lineman to the draft last year. And pretty much none of the guys who started this year had ever played meaningful snaps going into the year. One would think since there's an obvious need for OLineman for 2025, that Moore should be able to have his pick of the litter. But that's not what's happening! Is it possible that Michigan just isn't willing to pay big $$$ to players out of the portal at any rate regardless of position? Because development has never been a problem, since they're churning out pros yearly. My hunch is they're just not willing to ante up on NIL funds to portal players. That they're more interested in using the $$$ they have to retain their current players, and pay their younger guys whom they expect to compete for the 2-deep over the next 2 seasons. What else could it possibly be???
@RICOJEEZUS2 күн бұрын
The GM has said that you get more bang for your buck from HS recruiting than the portal. Idk why they would want to continue on at the WR position like this though. Probably should expect more of the same from this offense if they won't even get a #1 WR for their #1 QB.

Relax
@stevenvargo2440Күн бұрын
Relax??? Lol. Really??? This is sad. Our offense is sad. Without a dominant OLine group, it ain't gonna improve. McCulley and Haynes better ball out because if they don't, we're another mediocre offense that will force our defense and special teams to have to win 17 to 10 every game. Not a recipe that will take us to the playoffs. Moore is not getting it done on the offense! He needs to up his game and start landing elite players.
