Subpar quarterback play was NOT the only problem with the passing game - far from it. The lack of big play receivers was glaring. We desperately needed Skyler Bell from UConn; I was excited about that prospect but it was not to be. I think WRs are reluctant to come to Michigan because Sherrone has a "smash" mentality and they know it. They know Michigan under Moore will always be a run first team, and they want to go somewhere that puts the ball in the air.

A lot of people misconstrue what defines a Michigan Man. Ultimately, it is about character. And Davis Warren has that in spades. Is he a great college QB? No. But he is a great leader and role model that gives of himself and puts others‘ needs before his own. He is a great human being, and that’s what defines a Michigan Man.

In this year's transfer portal, we ranked second or third best in the 2025 class, right? What prevented us from cracking the 4th or 5th 2025 recruiting class. The lack of WRs is Derek Meadows's decision to go to Alabama. We have reloaded in just about every position, but WRs is what has alluded us for a while. Agreed, it seems like the top talent is going to the SEC, WA, USC, Wake or TX A&M or OSU. With UM’s new NIL program this is hard to understand unless our coaches are willing to settle for lower tier players that won’t move the dial. @@treppacoles8856Along with the high academic standards, the tuition is very expensive, all in and its 90k a year (tuition, shelter, food, transportation, and more essentials) some things also include the coaching for those postions - Wide Reciever has never been a huge Michigan position, until they can prove the rock and fly, it's best to go somewhere where you can get draft stock guarenteed or improve. A lot of people also transfer to be with old coaches of theirs since they hold a spot in their heart and they know how good of a coach they were.
