Wink has been fine. It's the offensive side that has suffered.
@RyanDayisaBeardedLady5 күн бұрын
For sure, the defense is still good but any defense is gonna get tired when the offense keeps going 3 and out. I'm not saying fire Kirk Campbell but we definitely need to bring in somebody to be co-offensive coordinator with him.

Yes Wink is adjusting to the college game, great to see.

6:48 your point, I swear to God, the Big Ten better not give their advantage back to the SEC with any type of regulations or anything that would prohibit them from getting on a level playing field in the arena with the stupid SEC schools. Michigan has an advantage. They need to keep hammering at home any type of regulations that they want to put in. It must be fair and equitable, and not put us at a disadvantage again.

Great players are a great start. A coach that can handle them is needed as well. Harbaugh won with good to very good players. Other teams out recruited Michigan but had locker room problems. Some players felt entitled or butt hurt from not getting as big a dollars as the next guy. Money can pervert player cohesion. That said, let's give Michigan a chance with a bunch of 5 stars and see what happens.

100% and Sherrone Moore is NOT that guy, you can already tell this year that he lost the locker room.

Not much happening since Underwood commitment! Appears that some Michigan Insiders are backing off all these big names flipping to Michigan like Meadows and Haywood. $$$ may be being reallocated by the NIL Collectives to target specific players -- especially local talent -- over the next 2 or 3 classes rather than just focusing on this 2025 class. So, let's not get our hopes up! Sounds like alot of these major flip predictions were premature.
@ddavis17865 күн бұрын
Remember it takes a while to build relationships between players and recruiters- also the MI NIL and Bryce coming is brand new news, plus their are many reasons that factor into players choice of a college/team - despite the craziness of NIL, it’s not the SOLE driver for all. GO BLUE!
@hunterwheeler26564 күн бұрын
Haven’t heard of the Haywood thing being less likely they just have to get him on campus, still alot of smoke with him plus he’s not signing early so Michigan has plenty of time to flip him

It's not a pipe dream probably takes 2 more recruits to get us into top 5 high 4 star and a 5 star easily doable plus next week is only early signing period

False Dichotomy…. Paying for players means the players won’t buy in. It’s either recruit as if NIL isn’t a thing-or-recruit as if it’s the only thing. It can be both and that depends on many things. It will fall to coaches to bring in the kinds of players who will both be what they need to be and do what they need to do.

You realize there's a distinct possibility that this is severe overplay. There's honestly a possibility that Carter Smith is going to be the better quarterback. So, we chased away a recruit we had lined up and spent their 20 million for what exactly?

@@jameshowlet7432 Carter Smith is a project QB. Bryce Underwood can start as a freshman.
@mattdrewdrums5 күн бұрын
There's a possibility Smith is better than Underwood? Sure, just like there was a possibility Lloyd Christmas could be with Mary Swanson 🤣🤣🤣. Guy, you'll find out damn soon why Bryce Underwood was rated so highly the second he arrives on campus. You're clearly one of those people that baselessly disregards recruiting rankings, as if they're entirely arbitrary. Recruiting rankings aren't specifically useful, but are definitely generally useful. When a kid is rated that high, he has a very good chance of being successful at the college level. Whereas there have been TONS of Carter Smith type QB recruits that end up doing nothing. Tate Forcier, Devin Gardner, Shane Morris, Brandon Peters, Dylan McCaffery, Joe Milton, John O'Korn -ALL of them were around his rating and didn't amount to much of anything. Now, look at the few 5 star QBs we've had among Henne, Mallet, Patterson, and JJ. 3 of those 4 QBs were very good in college and Patterson was one of our better QBs. The last few generational level QB recruits? Bryce Young, Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields-how'd they turn out?
@jh16035 күн бұрын
There’s also a possibility that we are all just living in a simulation and Bryce Underwood and Carter Smith don’t actually exist. This is about the same likelihood as Carter being better than Bryce
