That's awesome!!! Nice to meet a fellow marsh bird hunter lol. They're so much fun and its wild that so many people don't even know about them. I just ate mine tonight and forgot how delicious they were. I'll be after more this week 🙌👊 good luck with more of your hunts brother
@kevindunseoutdoors262 жыл бұрын
@@LTOutdoors15 Yup, couldn't agree more! Have had great luck with the 7.5 upland steel on snipe and rail. Even snuck up on a goose while snipe hunting and took it with the 7.5 shot!
@LTOutdoors152 жыл бұрын
@@kevindunseoutdoors26 holy cow!!! Now that's awesome lol. I've taken a couple geese with 4s but it's been a struggle lol. Those upland loads are definitely perfect

Those almost look like those Michigan Roadrunners, we see them all the time in the flooded fields during the wet season during the fall.

I honestly dont know their real name.

I'm curious if the reason your gun jammed was due to light load in the cartridge.
@LTOutdoors152 жыл бұрын
Nope, it jammed twice goose hunting too. I've had issues with that dang gun since I bought it
@bobg12192 жыл бұрын
@@LTOutdoors15 did it come with a warranty?
@LTOutdoors152 жыл бұрын
@@bobg1219 yeah it's been a few years though and I'm not even sure where it's at anymore. I want to buy another 870. I never had an issue with that gun

Do snipe migrate early like teal ducks? I went out on the 16 and 17th and saw 3 birds. Definitely to much work walking through the mud.
@LTOutdoors152 жыл бұрын
It's a ton of work walking through the muck for sure. They do start migrating early like teal but they're around alot longer. I've shot a bunch during regular duck season.
@tieoneon1614 Жыл бұрын
This was awesome. Iv always seen these in the marshes i duck hunt when I was younger. Now, duck hunting is so over crowded that this looks more fun and more action. Do they taste like woodcock?
@LTOutdoors15 Жыл бұрын
It's such a riot, I had never seen any one else do it till my videos came out. Now theres been a few hunting where I go lol. I've honestly never eaten or shot a woodcock but to me it tastes like a good steak

Not very many people will tempt it because you have to be so careful with your surroundings by the road. Its stressful, i prefer inland marshes
@gillgetter30042 жыл бұрын
I would of thought there woodcock!!
@LTOutdoors152 жыл бұрын
Theres not a huge difference between the 2. Woodcock just prefer more wooded areas and are stockier, also have more color
