Even though I'm a huge Michigan fan, I rooted for the Spartans against Ohio St. (of course) and again in the Rose Bowl against Stanford. I'm so glad for them. Go Sparty!

Even as a Purdue fan, I have nothing but respect for Michigan State. It's a great school and your fight song is quite catchy, defiantly the 2nd most underrated fight song out there (w/ Hail Purdue being #1 in my biased opinion!). I'm looking forward to the Purdue/Michigan State basketball game when College Gameday comes to West Lafayette, let's hope we play better than when we played you guys in football earlier this year. I hope Izzo makes in to the Final 4 again, he's a great coach.

A lot of good memories I forgot how sick Sedrik Irvin #33 was for MSU. Man too bad he couldn't make it in the NFL but dam he was my favorite MSU tailback next to TJ. Oh and what a hit by #4 Plax on Michigan. I remember the interception by #15 Hill except in the west coast they weren't showing the MSU vs #1 OSU game so we had to catch the highlights from ESPN. Mary Ann my dad was class of 69 I'm class of 2004 Mech Eng.

Favorite bowl game I was at was 2000 against Florida when Plax went off on the Gators and made a national name for himself, also my freshman year. BTW sorry for the double post go Green. The earliest game I remember going to was when I was 6 MSU wins @ the Rose Bowl agaisnt USC. I knew even as a kid that this was a huge game and you could feel the electricity that year. It's funny how we beat USC twice in Labor Day @ East Lansing and @ Pasadena. Bring back the block S on helmets man.

It's a shame the Wolverines from Ann Arbor have to be in the same state. This would be the best fight song in the state of Michigan if the Victors and Varsity were never written. It really is a cool fight song.

I have watched MSU football for about 45 years--roughly the same time frame I have listened to the Beatles. Unlike The Beatles though, the Spartan football program is only sporadically excellent. Maybe 5 out of those 45 years they looked like they could beat anyone, and the last was Nick Satan's last season. Great fight song though, and the marching band always entertains.
