After the backbreaking INT in the endzone thrown by Warren, the Michigan defense REALLY stepped up. They didn't allow OSU's momentum to continue, as they held OSU to a three-and-out. This sequence 11:29 REALLY shows how we played zone perfectly. Really reminds me of the 2021 defensive game. We had monsters on the D-line. QB never got comfortable, not to mention got rocked and many saying concussed 😬. They couldn’t pass it… so they ran. They wouldn’t run it, so they kept whiffing it when passing - with no rhythm or clear coverage pattern to diagnose.

@ChicagoSteveАй бұрын
@@hailhailtomichigan1918 By the way, there are so many amazing editing choices that I noticed in this summary, it needs to be appreciated. You chose exactly the right series of plays, for exactly the right points in the game, to tell a coherent story of how Michigan won the game -- all without captions or voiceover. Some things that jumped out at me included: - The increasing detail you included, starting late in the third quarter, when the story became not just about the successful plays, but the ones that OSU chose to run that failed - The tight coordination between the broadcast and the action -- and even more, between the video replay and the broadcast discussion - Your decision not to include the fight at the end, which is part of a different story That's just from memory. Thank you for taking the time to produce this so carefully.
@hailhailtomichigan1918Ай бұрын
@@ChicagoSteve Appreciate the kind words. Some of that is accidental or done subconsciously, but I'll take the kudos either way! Also, I completely forgot about the fight when editing this. They went to commercial so soon after the game that I just didn't even think about it. But since they also didn't react to it live, I don't think it makes a lot of sense to include any commentary that they may have had on it when they came back, on top of it being irrelevant from the game as you mention.
