@extremeaudioPRO3 жыл бұрын
I have 6 hawk heliums. My original set came with the buckles and they’re a great stick, the new ones have daisy chain straps. They are junk they kick out, don’t pull tight to the tree. bought some of these and they’re great. they have the buckle and hold tight to the tree like my original hawks, but are way lighter which makes them easier to hang as you’re climbing.

I bought the solid sticks and wish i could have afforded the ones with holes for the reason you stated. If XOP made theirs with a double step version, id probably sell mine at a loss for the simple fact that the XOP's stack better together with the cam lock feature.

Agreed! Been mobile hunting since 1989. These are hands down the best stick on the market. My lone wolf sticks needed a rebuild after just 2 seasons. Stealth stripping works great, buckles too. I just strap mine together with an old safety harness strap.

Great video bud, just got my sticks back in June from my order last Dec. I’ve only played around climbing a couple times so far. I did stealth strip mine which makes them quieter. I’m using a camera strap but like the threaded rod idea. Do you have any suggestions for getting the sticks up the tree? Are you saddle hunting with them? This is the main thing I haven’t figured out yet!
@MichiganGreatOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
I use tree stands. I usually hang the first 2 from the ground then just carry one up as I climb and then attach a rope to the last one and pull it up. Im playing with bungee cord and small carabiners now.
