How long levothyroxine will continue in case of congenital hypothyroidism? My patient diagnosed as a case of C. Hypothyroidism in 14 days of age and on that day his S.TSH was 8.43 micro lU/ml.

mehede mithun You don't need pills to cure a thyroid disorder ! Tell your patient to fix up their diet and not ingest any gluten. All thyroid diseases start in your gut. Stop pushing pills to patients. God will unleash His wrath upon you for lying to people.

My sister's baby has CH, the hospital delayed in informing us about the condition for about 4 weeks, we started Levothyroxine on the 32nd day of life, is that concerning? I am worried because from what I've researched so far it is usually suggested to start medication within 2 weeks of life. Someone please help and point me to research articles.

My baby diagnosed CH in 24th day and started treatment at the 25th day. Her tsh was above hundred. Now she is 8 months old and doing good. She looks very normal .now her tsh level is 3.81
