The Bourbon Judge was very impressed with this bottle, definitely one I’ll be searching for.

I just traded for my first M10. It was a 2020 release. I hope it delivers!

What was your ranking of the 2023 M10 releases you tried?

Anyone tried 23F ? If then how was it compare to A barrel ?

Great comparison between the best and worst M10s from last year based on those you tasted. Made me feel better that I missed a local drop of this earlier this week.

Yeah I’ve hated some of the older M10s some drank like 40 buck whiskey yes last year was a hitter but obviously that varies not worth the price gamble

Love that you kept my 2023 M10B as an example of a "worse" barrel! Seriously, though, as a result of your blind flight I'm done with Michter's single barrel products. For the cost, every barrel needs to be a hitter, and not all of them are. On a related note, assuming M10B is sourced from Brown-Forman, that is another example of how Brown-Forman Kentucky bourbon is actually not a fantastic value. Some of the shelfers like the Whiskey Row Series and Woodford DO are good bourbon, and I don't feel cheated out of $60 based on taste. But they are all 4-5 year-old products. Any B-F Kentucky bourbon 10+ years old (Save KoK, assuming retail) is priced way higher and released at a lower proof than similarly-aged releases from other legacy KY distilleries.
