I’ve been trying to figure out why Eternal never clicked with me like 2016 did since it’s release, and I think this is one of those things. Seeing so much of doom guy and spooky sword demons really put me off from the trailers alone… the absolute power 2016 had to just LOCK me into the moment with the music, sound design, and art direction is so special to me, and they never forced the doom guy to be anything more than the witty set of enraged beefcake arms I loved in the final game

This is my favorite. I just keep replaying the same Argent Facility level over and over again to hear this. I love the "soft" part and the "going hard" part. I don't know guys why you only say about Doom 3 riff (which is not copied note by note btw). The whole track is inspired by Doom 3 theme: bass line, synth leads over the bass line - all contain parts of melody from the theme. I clearly catched these references during Argent Facility walkthrough.
