Literally built a Zealot Barbarian Conquest Paladin (would go vengeance for flavor, but conquest gave 2 non-concentration spells that would last after raging and give me a fear aura, and even then, in D&D Paladins want to conquer and destroy all the lower planes so it works out) that has stupid nova, especially with a Half-Orc with the racial feat that doubles his savage crit, along with savage attack to reroll and take the higher of any crit with 4d12+6d8[8d8 against undead or fiend]+2d6+8[+18 if using Great Weapon Master]. Sure that's with a crit, but barbarians can reackless attack as the first hit of every turn for advantage and then slap on bonuses from magic weapons and armor to get the fury of God in the presence of mortals and Fiends alike!
