Beginning around the 37 minute mark discourse of Nate Newton : This is the foundation of my thoughts on just how poorly our rosters talents have been botched He's addressing the disservice to Zack Martin and Asim Richards However, The principles by Nate here applies to Rico, Pollard, Tolbert, Lance, etc Lance has had now an entire season since pre-season to show what, if anything, he's accomplished I'd hate to lose him only to see that we lost more than he was allowed to be to someone else

To Everson's point about the 44 minute mark about receivers not fighting for their QB... Tolbert, Brooks, Cooks, and Turpin have been shown to be wide open but unseen bc of Rush's inability to make the right read in time Not that D4K's not seen wide open receivers,,, But that's the difference in losing your QB1 #1- They're not as familiar (outside of Jalen Brooks) with Cooper Rush in real games, nor have they developed a chemistry with him Yet now, That be the issue if Trey Lance gets the start So, What should've been done a few games ago, Needs be done in week 18 Afterall, He has practiced with these backups as the 3rd string QB Yet also I'll add,,, Aikman said the exact same thing about CeeDee and the starting receivers, before D4K's injury And again,,, D4K wasn't without fault either

Cooper Rush gets the ball out quicker than Dak and it's been proven statistically in time difference. Rush would have more chemistry with Turpin and Tolbert, some with Brooks when they go spread since they mostly run with the second team which is Rush. Dak gets the reps with Ceedee and Cooks with a little bit of Tolbert as the 3rd so Rush would have chemistry with these receivers since he's had plenty of practice reps with them when Dak was the starter

We gave up a 4th for Lance, too, Nate We need to see what we have in him We've had yrs with Cooper Rush The Joneses totally botched the handling of Trey Lance

McCarthy botched it because he doesn't know how to use him properly. If Sean Payton was coaching this team he would use him to his strengths not try an force him in his system. Saints Taysom Hill would be rotting on the bench if McCarthy was his coach but look how Payton was using him in all different ways when he's not a pocket passer either

I believe Mick was also wrong about the #6 seed playing the loser of Detroit and Minnesota, they would play the LA Rams, who would be the #3 seed as a division winner over wild card Detroit or minnesota.
